New Features Summary
Launch of Pass Creator service
We have long had the limitation in our Loyalty solution that it was built in a time when physical cards were the norm and digital representations were in their infancy. Previously that meant that we weren't best placed to support customers who wanted a 'digital first' Loyalty offering. With that in mind, we are very excited to bring customers a new service called Pass Creator, which allows users to create new Loyalty Card templates (or edit existing ones) to fit the desired look and feel of their brand and to include all the credentials needed for an Apple or Google Wallet pass to be generated for the end user. The templates will always include the user's Loyalty Card number and a QR code allowing them to scan and accrue points and redeem rewards Additionally, customers will be able to choose background colours and images that help them to properly brand the passes their guests receive.

Part of the template creation process requires users to upload relevant Apple & Google credentials needed to successfully generate a pass. More information on this can be found here.
'Add to Wallet' button included in Account Engine email templates
Creating great-looking pass templates is the first step, but we also need to ensure that guests are able to add the correct pass with the correct template to their Apple or Google Wallet. To support this, we have made two changes to Loyalty:
Firstly, we have added a 'Template Configuration' module to Companies (shown below) where users can select the template, built in Pass Creator, that they want to send out:
Secondly, we have added a new dynamic marker, 'Device Wallet Buttons' to the Email Templates module (shown below) This allows users to include both the 'Add to Apple Wallet' and 'Add to Google Wallet' buttons to emails sent to guests.
